I think they are so much fun .Oh I love this little bird from the April Stamp of the months (S2304) - here is have combined it with Cosette paper suite and the Cosette cardmaking stamp set which has this fabulous arch shaped die cut.
I used markers to color in the images and if you look closely you will see that I have ink distressed all of the pieces using toffee ink.
You’ll find everything I used on my website

Here is a free layout idea for you 😃
Base is 12x12 ( I scored vertical lines every 0.5 and 0.25” across the whole piece )
The black piece is 4x12
The white stamped piece is 2.75 x12
The journal area is 2x7.75
The pink mat is 2.5 x 8.25
The green mat 3x8.5
The pink photo mat 6.25 x 8.25 - I used a 5x7 photo mat on this but you could use 3 vertical 6x4 photos on here
3 small green squares 1.5 x 1.5
Stamp your long white piece with whichever images you prefer - I used CC2234 Daisy Daisy and colored using Magenta marker.
Inks I used - Z4189 Intense Black, Z6513 Green Apple, and Z2812 Raspberry.
Decorate as desired - I used Z5901 Wild Berry Shimmer Trim, Z3798 Ballerina Liquid Pearls
I drew the journal lines using the Grey Journal pen
The black piece is attached 0.5” from the bottom edge - the stamped piece is attached 9.25” from the bottom edge of the black piece.
How fun to change the color of the cardstock and images and get a different layout every time x
They are both available ( while supplies last ) until the end of this month - you won't want to miss out.
You can see how I created this pretty Cardin the video here
Yesterday I created this pretty single page layout using a 12x12 white cardstock base and accenting it with black cardstock and featuring 1.75” x 6” scraps of colored cardstock.
You know how much I love this ‘It’s the little things’ stamp set CC12310 as I featured it in my Technique Tuesday video a few weeks ago.
I used the Intense Black Ink to stamp my images to create the background around the edges of my base as it’s perfefect for adding coloring and shading without bleeding or smudging.
I colored the images which I hand cut using the Milan Watercolor pencils and added colored dot and sparkles for ‘bling’. Liquid glass on the butterflies bodies and centers of flowers adds extra shine and clear shimmer brush on the yellow flowers and butterfly wings adds a little shimmer.
I am thrilled with the finished result and hope you love it as much as I do xx
. . . . That I teach an online class on my Facebook Page every Tuesday at 7pm EST??
I try to feature a technique or a tip every week and show you how to create the artwork and give you all of the paper piece sizes so that you can recreate it x
I also have giveaways!!
I don't delete the videos so you can always go back and watch them whenever you want to.
Make sure you check them out and join me on Tuesdays wherever in the wold you are watching from x
Love Sara xxxx
Oooh how time flies- I cant believe it's been a few months since I posted - where has the time gone!!! It's been busy for everyone I know.
Anyway I'm back and have a cute card idea to share with you - the same idea but 2 different color ways and a great way to use up some of those scraps you have lying about.
A fun scalloped thin cut die cut border from Are We There Yet? cardmaking stamp set creates these fun frills, and an embossing folder creates texture at the top of the card.
The pretty doily heart die cut is from our new Now & Forever Stamp set with Die cuts set along with the words and pretty rose image.
The color combination I used on the top card are Ballerina, Flamingo, Mulberry, Wisteria & Pewter
The 2nd card used Honey Butter, Sundance, Melon, Papaya & Scarlet
It's perfect for a quick and easy card and I hope you like them as much as I do xx
