Notecard holder and notecards

I was so pleased with the 3rd project for the day - note cards and their matching envelopes and a cute holder.

Perfect Day mini purse album

Can you tell I loved making these :O) This features the CTMH Perfect day level 2 paper pack and I used the extra photos from our Med Cruise last year - here you can also see the tags pulled out from the pockets :O)

Moon Doggie Mini Purse album

Here is another purse this time using the CTMH Moon Doggie paper.

Stardust Mini Purse Album

Here is the stardust Mini purse album we made - love this :O)

Stamp Camp Projects - Double Layout.

This is the double layout we made a my Stamp camp yesterday - I showed how you could add extra photos to a layout by making pockets and also by adhering only 3 sides of a large photo mat down - making another pocket.

St Johns Co-Cathedral

This shows the 9x9 page protector lifted up so you can see the original layout plus the extra photos :O)
this was a double layout with a 9x9 overlay on the right hand page - I had lots of photos and wanted to have them in the album but not do another double page.
The left hand page has a pocket at the bottom which holds 2 more photos.

Malta

I was really happy how this layout looked when I had finished.
I don't have a panormic setting on my camera so to get around this I take 3 or 4 photos and then line them up like a jigsaw and then cut them into strips. It gives a cool effect and whn you look at it you don't realize that it isn;t just one photo. Give it a try yourself and let me know how it works for you :O)

Delight in Everything

Here are 2 photos which show you the new National Stamping Month kit - I have made up the cards and they are absolutely adorable - I love these colors and the stamp set (shown in the top photo). CTMH has included all of the accessories for this kit and the cards are already pre-cut with the scalloped edge. You can purchase this kit for $39.95 OR if you buy a minimum of $60 in My Acrylix stamp sets you will get this kit absolutely FREE :O)

Twitterpated Workshop To Go

Oh how I love this paper and this workshop to go - I have made the cards in the kit for you to see. All of the cards on the left hand side show the cards made with the basic kit - and they are so cute. The cards on the left have been 'upgraded" (LOL) with hemp, brads and the new cardstock buttons which add extra 'bling' - hope you like them as much as I do :O)

I'm 37 yet again :O)

It was my birthday yesterday I was 37 again. I had a lovely day and Richard spoiled me rotten with a gorgeous necklace from Tiffanys - not something I would have chosen myself but I absolutely love it and find myself touching it all the time :O) Makes me think outside the box.

In the evening we went or a lovely meal at Macaroni Grill with all of my beautiful children. Poor Robyn could only eat soup as she has had a tooth out and is in a huge amount of pain :O(

Having a birthday makes you take stock of what you have achieved and what you have in life - I have a wonderful husband, 3 wonderful children, and a life which is far from perfect but it keeps me on my toes. I wouldn't change much of it.

3 wishes for my birthday? I don't think I can think of 3 things I would change to be honest with you. I LOVE my life with CTMH - how could I not? Number 2 in the company for sales in 2008-2009, amazing groups of ladies who I see every month - who I love dearly, and fabulous fellow consultants who have become some of my closest friends. Friends back in the UK who are my soul mates.
I would maybe wish for a few more hours in the day to be able to accomplish everything I wanted to - maybe to be more organized LOL :O) And maybe a wish that I could click my fingers and have both of my sisters instantly with me - we have so much fun together - but hey - I am off to the UK in December (God willing) so I will see them then :O)

Monday 6th October 2008

In the afternoon there was a Close To My Heart meeting in the theater so we all put on our CTMH polo shirts and headed for the get together - it was lots of fun with games and give-aways.

We got up late on Monday and spent the morning sitting outside at the Great Outdoors cafe - the sunshine was lovely and we decided mid morning to have cocktails - well we were on vacation! So we drank Rebellious Fish cocktails which were just perfect. We then went for a walk to explore the ship and found this great glass screen which had one fish swimming the opposite way to the rest of the fish - it was obviously rebellious ! And so the name for the trip was decided - The Rebellious Fish Tour!

Sunday 5th October 2008

These 2 layouts take you to the end of Sunday - our 1st full day together.
We had so much fun with our friends - Teri & Brian, Beth and her husband - with Dana and Holly.

We laughed until we cried - and finally at midnight we went back to the cabin and stood on the balcony watching the water rush past the ship as we sailed out to sea. At this point we had been awake for about 36 hours and we were exhaused.

Again, I used the big flower in the background of this tulip colored card - the pattern from this card can be found in Wishes card program.

I love the ruffled ribbon on the card with the brads and I sanded the olive card-stock with the coarse sandpaper to give a canvas look to the card-stock.

The make a wish card is embossed with clear embossing powder before the cocoa ink was rubbed over it.

The Thank you card at the bottom used sorbet ink and the flower was then rolled in the cocoa ink at the edges.

I think this set is just so pretty. The 'Dream" card reminds me of fireworks. I used clear embossing powder over the colored ink and after heat setting it I rubbed Outdoor Denim ink over it and then stamped with the ODD ink to give a layered look.
The 'Thank You' card used the large dandilion flower as a background stamp.
The small card on the bottom right was designed by my good friend Michele Gamble and featured blush and citrus leaf inks.
The 'You are my sunshine' card used Dutch Blue, topiary and sunny yellow card-stock and inks with some sunflower ink to highlight the edges of the flower.

September Class Projects

Here are the 2 cards I am teaching this month - the left hand card features the September Stamp of the month and the flowers in the center panels feature the rolling technique.
The right hand card features "Harry" the hedgehog from the new Twitterpated workshop to go kit. Hope you like them :O)

September's Treasures.

I love the September Stamp of the Month from Close to My Heart - I had so much fun creating these 2 cards - both using the same technique of sponging ink from the center and getting darker towards the edges - just love the way they turned out :O)

Hope you like them too :O)

Good grief - I have been MIA for weeks !

Okay so who stole most of the the last few weeks - I seems to have been running round but not on here - so to make up for it - you will now see a whole pile of projects and cards which I have been working on (while not playing on the computer LOL)
