Amy & Jacob's Wdding Flip Flap Album
I am addicted to Flip flap albums LOL - this one I made for my friend Amy who got married on Saturday. Her wedding invitations were all in black and pink so I used watermelon colored ink and card stock and added the black and white. I used the Heart-throb stamp set which I love and embellished with beads, flowers, waxy flax and ribbon - hope you like it :O)

Here is a card which I made as a corporate entry a year or so ago - I love the way it turned out. The splash of pink really lifts the black. The cardstock was scored and then sanded and I used Baby pink cardstock, and Baby pink, blush and hollyhock inks for the beautiful flower from the beloved blossoms stamp set.
I used blush sassy strands to tie the card shut by threading it through a hollyhock spiral clip and then around a hollyhock button.
I saw a similar card that my good friend Victoria had done so took the idea and came up with my own interpretation of it :O) Hope you like it .

Endless Friendship Card
I loved the way that this card turned out. I used the Endless Friendship stamp set and used baby pink, desert sand and white cardstock and Bamboo textured cardstock, silver brads and colonial white grosgrain ribbon finish it perfectly.
I stamped the flower in heavenly blue ink & rolled the edges in dutch blue ink for a graduated look.
Hope you like it :O)

Just love this set more & More !
The top circular card - I embossed the black cardstock with silver EP then embossed the same image again on white cardstock and colored it using Ocean, Citrus Leaf, Orange and Sunny yellow markers.
The bottom left card features the Perfect Day level 2 paper pack cardstock and paper and again I embossed the images onto Juniper cardstock.
The bottom righ card has cocoa and creme brulee cardstock, inks and markers. Cocoa ribbon and an antique copper brad complete the look :O)

July Stamp Of the Month cards
Oh how I love this set - the top 2 cards I made a girl version using the color combination of bubblegum and sweetleaf with black, and the boy version I used dutch blue and sweet leaf and bamboo.
The bottom card I used cocoa, and bamboo and twilight to prove that this isn't just a set for girls LOL.
I think it is such a versatile set and I have seen some wonderful artwork which has inspired me to make these - So thanks to Karen Pederson who gave me the inspiration for the top 2 cards :O)

Here on vacation.........
...... in Indianopolis. Goodness - where is the time going - I can't believe that it is nearly a month since I last posted !
Well the summer has been busy - down at the beach, at the movies, still working in between.
But Rich took this week off and we decided to take a road trip to Indy. We spent the day at the childrens museum yesterday - it was absolutely fabulous. Apparently it is the biggest childrens museum in the world at over 400,000 sq feet. And I think we walked every inch of it LOL.
There was a superb Tutenkamun exhibition there which we all enjoyed. Something I have wanted to see since I was a little girl. The boys also loved the steam train which was in there, the Jedi star fighter which was the actual film prop from Star Wars - The Clone Wars. There was so much to see. A brilliant day for all of us.
Today we are meant to be going to the zoo but at the moment it is raining - hopefully we will be able to go later today as the zoo here is awesome too - they have leafy seahorses which are absolutely exquisist. I wanted to bring one home with me the last time we came here LOL :O)
Anyway - when we get back to Michigan I will get back into my posting mode - get those pages made, make some cards and fun stuff to share with you all :O)
