Girl Wonder

Here is the cute card with its pocket for chocolate which I made for all of my 41 team members at this past weekends Close To My Heart Event.

I know the chocolate was bigger that the card - but really - who wants small bars of chocolate !

And  I Love the Girl Wonder set with its matching die cuts - It made the whole process so quick and easy. I used the Stargazer paper and lots of Silver shimmer trim and then added in a piece of grey twine.

Luggage Tags

Today I thought I would share all of the luggage tags which I have earned during my 14 1/2 years of being a Close To My Heart Consultant.

Yep - 12 trips and each one is so special in its own way.

I have taken my husband and 2 boys on 4 of these , my daughter on 2 of them and various friends on the others.

I have made so many amazing memories, from seeing an iceberg 'calve' in Alaska, 

kayaking in bio-phosphorescent water in the Southern Caribbean, 

visiting volcanos in Hawaii, seeing Rome on the Mediterranean trip, and so so much more.

On this trip to Thailand I will ride Elephants and see the Palace where they filmed 

the musical the King & I.

Fancy fold Bloom and Grow Embossed Card

Here is another pretty card with the January Stamp of the Month from Close To My Heart.

This time I used the Versamark ink pad with Silver Embossing powder for the seed packet image and then heat set it.

I then stamped the sentiment and time time used Gold embossing powder.

I colored the leaves and flower using the Leaf Green and Lavender ShinHan markers for a vibrant look.

The Hearts I stamped in thistle ink and then shimmer brushed over the top.

The paper and watering can came from the new Chelsea Gardens collection.

I tied the new grey ribbon around the bottom and I love the finished result. Hope you do too. Would love to read your comments below xxx

Bloom and Grow Embossed Card

This Pretty card is made using the Stamp of the Month 'Bloom and Grow" along with our brand new Chelsea Gardens Paper - its Gorgeous.

I stamped the seed packet on White cardstock using the Versamartk ink pad and 

Clear Embossing Powder and then heat set it.

When it was cool I then stamped the sentiment in Versamark and this time used the Gold Embossing powder

I took 2 sponges and used Juniper and Glacier inks and sponged the ink to form an ombre effect.

I used a piece of Vellum paper under between the paper and the matted seed packet - I know its difficult to see and I cut a < shape in the bottom of it.

I stamped the heart in Juniper ink and added a white Glitter yardstick Heart behind it.

I love the way it turned out.

Love Letters straight from Close To My Heart
