I took neutral patterned paper and painted it with a diluted wash of varying shades of watercolor paint. I then painted white cardstock in deeper hues of the same shades of color and when dry, hand cut the flowers. The colors in the photo of my daughter were the inspiration for the colors of the background. Hope you love it x
