September class project
Here is a sneak peak of our class project for September. It features the new September Stamp of the month - Thriller. The skull image is stamped in clear Versamark ink and then heat embossed with a mixture of 2 parts black embossing powder and 1 part prisma glitter. When it is heated the prisma glitter forms a copperized rainbow effect - so cool :O)
Hope you like it :O)

Zippedee My Creations Board Book from Extravaganza
Here is a board book which I covered using the Zippedee level 2 paper pack and matching stickease. Here I added liquid glass to the blue star dimensional element which I had inked in Indian Corn Blue and added the dots in black ink. I added spots to the letters to spell the words Disney.
Again I used the stamp set Just the ticket for added dimension and added sparkles and opaques to the tickets. I used a dimensional element star which I inked in Cranberry ink and stamped the dots in black ink and tucked it under the satin edged ribbon.
Here I liquid glassed the back of the buttons and then dipped them in prisma glitter. I stitched them to the cardstock using black waxy flax. This way the glitter is trapped between the button and cardstock. I used the black ribbon to accent the page.
I added a dimensional element which I popped up with 3D tape so that I could tuck the 4x6 flip flap underneath it to add another photo to the page. I added a sparkle to the stickease which was added to that dimensional element - which had been inked with cranberry ink.
I made the 'Mickey Mouse' from black cardstock circles which I then liquid glassed to make them shiny. Then added more dimensional elements on the right hand page - inked and then stamped the dots onto them in black. On the right hand page I also doubled the ribbon with the satin edged and black dot ribbon over the top.
I used the large stickease on the left hand page and placed it over the photo of Leo and again added dimensional element stars - then added a prisma glitter coated button to the frame. I used a circular dimensional element which I inked in black ink then liquid glassed to give a shiny finish. When it was dry i added the ribbon accents. more tickets completed the page.
This page used the stickease with a ribbon knot attached to the top.

Alaska '8x8 Gate Album' from Extravaganza
This is an album which I made out of our plain chipboard sheets - they come in 9x12 so I cut it down to 8x8.
That formed the back cover and then I cut 2 pieces of 4x8 for the front covers - everything else is made from the Passages level 2 paper pack and the matching stickease. I used Cocoa and colonial white satin edge ribbon to tie everything together. The idea behind this album was that you opened up the pages in 'pairs' like gates, which then gives you four 4x8 panels which form the layout.
I used the Heart dimensional elements covered with paper and cardstock.
The post card on the left hand pages was added after the pages were complete - I stuck the post card on the 2 pages and cut them apart - I hope that makes some sort of sense. Don't think I have had enough coffee this morning!
I embossed olive green cardstock with clear embossing powder then sponged cocoa ink over the top so that the embossed areas resisted the ink giving the 2 tone effect.
I added the new shimmer brads to the edge of the left hand photo.
Love these pages - again I added the postcard to both of the middle pages.
And this is the back inside cover of the album- I added another shimmer brad to the center of the ribbon knot and tucked the tag under it - I liquid glasses the stickease in the top left hand corner of the main photo and inked and liquid glassed the dimensional element heart at the bottom and the word LOVE.
Hope you like it :O)

Love Story - Extravaganza artboard
This is one of the display boards which I made for Extravaganza. As you know I taught "All That Glitters". So this shows lots of ways you can add glitter or shimmer to your projects. This uses the "That's Amore" level 2 paper pack. I used the new Shimmer designer brads on the cards and as the center of some of the flowers.
I mixed clear embossing powder and prisma glitter together and sprinkled it over colonial white ink and then heat set to get the shimmery decorated hearts.
I used the glitz glue on the Chocolate dot ribbon to add sparkle to it and used a glitter 'rub on' on the title piece. I also used the pink sparkles on the corner pieces to decorate the stamped image and again on the Stickease on the right hand page.
The wedding cake card uses the Glitz glue to free hand decorate the 'icing' on the cake. I then added rows of Opaques pearls in cream along each tier of the cake and in the center of the flower. I also added a button which I had rubbed with liquid glass and then sprinkled prisma glitter on underneath the pearl in the center of the flower.
The 1st of the 2 Christmas cards has sparkles in red and clear and also has tiny Opaques in cream to decorate the tree. i used liquid glass to add shine to the dots on the striped narrow piece of B&T which goes horizontally across the card.
The last card had dry embossing on the chocolate cardstock and then was ink distressed to make the pattern really show then had the sparkles in red on the trees. I cut the tree out 4 times and layered it to give it dimension. Another shimmer brad added a fun center to the ribbon.
Hope you like it :O)

Zippedee Altered Purse
Here is the cute altered 'purse' wooden box which I made using the Zippedee level 2 paper pack,Just the ticket stamp set (one of my very favorites) black ribbon and some of our new embellishments - yes you get a sneak peak at some of the goodies :O)
This photo is about 18 months old and shows Leo, Elliott and Robyn. I added mini opaques and the new red Sparkles for 'Bling'.
This is the back of the box - I have used some of the new Opaques pearls in Liquorice (black) and stamped "made with love" in black Stazon ink, from the Made with love stamp set D1387 - page 79 of the Summer Idea book.
This end of the box features a page from the new Mix & Mingle mini album. I curved it gently before I Modge Podged it to the box. More Opaques cover the holes in the edge of the pages. I used a wooden oval shape for the tag and covered it with more paper and added mini Opaques around the photo of Leo & I. I threaded more black ribbon and the satin edged Colonial White ribbon through it to tie it to the handle.
The other side of the tag has Robyn on it with another red Sparkle :O)
This is the other end of the purse with a photo of my husband richard and of Elliott. I have used on of the Clear acrylic tags and added a clear button which I added liquid glass to and then dropped it into Prisma glitter. Then I attached the button to the box - trapping the glitter between the box and the button :O)
Finally the lid - the beaded handle is from Michaels craft store which is where the wood box came from too. More black opaques and red sparkles add the 'bling' to the photo of Rich and I.
Hope you like it :O)

Toni's Surprise Album
My friend from High School back in the UK now lives in NC and she visited the UK over the summer. I made her this album as a surprise as she sent me a goody box full of my favorite British foods. She doesn't scrapbook - so hopefully - after she has added her photos to these pages - she will understand my love of scrapbooking :O)
Some of the pages had titles on them - some of them I left blank. All of the layouts are from the CTMH Cherish or Imagine 'How To' books :O)
Kineton is the name of the town where Toni comes from and where we went to school together.
All of Toni's family are still back in the UK so hopefully she can put some great family photos on these layouts.
So I put all of these layouts in a black linen 12x12 album and mailed it to her - she should get it on Saturday - hope she likes it!
Hope you like it too :O)

Friendship Album - Extravaganza class artwork.
Here is a mini album which I made from a 12x12 file folio. I will try to give directions as we go along :O) It featured the photos which were taken at the CTMH Leadership conference in July 2009.
I started with the 12x12 folio and put it in the paper trimmer with the tab facing me on the left hand side and scored it vertically at 6" opened it up and then refolded it along this new score line so that it was now 6"x24". I then put it back in the trimmer and scored it at 6" (it was already scored at 12" from the original fold) and then again at 18". So I now have 4 6x6 equal panels. I concertina folded it so it looked like the letter M. Okay now to start decorating :O)
I used the Grace level 2 paper pack and matching stickease. I did add all of the paper before I sealed up the sections with liquid glass - this 1st section is sealed along the top giving me a side 'pocket'. I used brads to accent the stickease.
On the side of the photo of Dana, Me and Nancy I used another large stickease to form the 'pull section' for the tag and then added cardstock to the back of it so that it wasn't sticky!
I dry embossed the flowers on the barn red cardstock and then sanded them and added the Glitz glue to the centers of them.
Here on page 2 I sealed along the score lines with the liquid glass which gave me top pockets. One on page 2 - one between panels 2 and 3 and then one on page 3 (yes I know we haven't got to that picture yet - but trust me LOL)
Here is the pull out photo that is in the pocket between pages 2 and 3.
Okay here we go - page 3 and on the pull out of this page the tab was made from a piece of cardstock which I covered with a narrower piece of B&T and used the reverse side and added spots of Glitz glue to accent the printed flowers.
This last panel was again sealed along the top edge so it gave me yet another pocket to be able to add 2 more pull out photos. One of Judy Pyne and I, and the other of our units group photo at the awards dinner.
Then on the front of page 4 I added a waterfall feature to allow me to add 4 more photos.
The heart stickease on the bottom of the pull out had it's center filled in with glitz glue for a sparkley finish :O)
Hope you like it :O)
