Alaska Cruise Mini Album

This is a mini album which I made for myself and one each for the girls in my unit who had also earned the cruise - I think 7 in total :O) I used chipboard for the page covers and used the Coluzzle file folder template to make pages in the different sizes. I used the luggage tag which we were given by Close To My Heart as the decoration for the spine.
Here we are waiting at the airport to leave.

The left hand photo shows us at the Make and Take session that CTMH had arranged for us on the cruise ship. We made beautiful laouts and were given a Bamboo Linen album to put them in.
The left hand one shows me relaxing with Junea in the background.

These pages had mini file folders on them for journaling.
Leo and Elliott with the Juneau 'Eagle" as we got off the ship.

We went 'panning for gold' in Juneau - the scenery was spectacular and the water was freezing. So much fun to do this. The boys were so excited when they found gold and tiny pieces of ruby LOL.
These were 2 of the views from the train which took us along the Yukon pass in Skagway -
the scenery was breathtaking. ou can see the snow on the mountains.

Here is a totem pole in the village that we visited just outside of Ketchikan - it was really interesting
to learn all about how the totem poles are made and the history of the images carved into them.
This last photo shows Rich and I at dinner on the ship - I love this photo of us.
We had such a fun trip - this was our first cruise and our first trip with Close To My Heart.it was amazing - and I can't wait to take more :O)

  5. Hi Paula - instructions no - I made it up as I went along. Basically I cut my file folios out of cardstock - folded them in half added about 1/2" to the largest dimensions - cut chipboard to this size to make the front cover - cut a 2nd one the same size to make the back cover and cut a piece 1" x the hieght of the cover for the spine. Laid them all out on a piece of B&T with about 1/8# inch between them and covered them with the paper. I added cardstock over the paper on the spine for added strength. The pages had holes punched in each one - ribbon holds each page to the spine.
I added the B&T to each of the file folios to decorate - I hope that helps :O)
