Congratulations Max and Noa

Here are 2 cards I made for twins who were celebrating B'Nai Mitvah - I kept them fairly simple.

It is my Wedding Aniversary today

Yes - I have been married to Richard for 16 years - some of them we have laughed through - some of them we have cried through - some of them have been along hard slog. But here we are at mile marker number 16. It doesn't seem that long ago really - he looks a little older and a lot grayer but there again I look older myself - and I dye the gray bits LOL.
We have 2 beautiful boys so show for our hard labor who amaze us with their individuality and who scarily enough are a lot like us too.
Well here is to the next 16 :O)

Here are the last few pages of the book. The photos were lovely - I love the sepia tones of them.

Here is a cute album which I made a while ago using CTMH Vintage Travel level 2 paper pack and matching stickease. I added hemp, ribbon, beads brads and all sorts of other embellishments to accent the book. The base of the book is made from cardstock CD holders.I then put the photos on a cariety of shaped tags to make it interactive - Hope you like it :O)

Over 100 :O)

Over 100 people have veiwed my blog - how cool is that :O)

Paper Bag Fun

This was a fun paper bag book that I did a little while ago which featured a fun 'accordian' page on the last page.

Here are my three gorgeous children - it always amazes me just how different they all are. Leo is about to finish 7th grade - is a fab trumpet player, is kind and quite quiet on the whole. Elliott is in the mddle and is just about to finish 4th grade and is a total clown - loves to tell jokes, and has an amazing memory for facts and is totally obsessed with WWII. And Robyn is 21 1/2 and so artistic, she paints, draws, and her photography is out of this world. They, along with my husband, are my world :O)

MG Diva Fun

IT was a lovely morning this morning here in the Motor City - so I took the "Diva" to work. Yes we finally have her up and running - rebuilt carbs, repaired soft top roof and replaced rear suspension :O) She goes like a dream and it is so much fun driving around with the roof down.

THere is a certain amount of smugness driving around smirking at the ofther convertable drivers who have their roofs up! Big girls LOL

Mind you I have my roof down and the heater going full blast - cozy toes :O)

I have to say that i am pretty excited how this card turned out. I love the color combination of Spring Iris, Key Lime and Creme brulee.

I have featured paper piercing as the technique and used the stamp set blooming flourishes. Chocolate Brads added the finishing touch.

It is June already??

Yes I have finally resurfaced again - having taken a month of very little computering to spend my time concentrating on my Stamp Camp where my customers and firends come and play and crop all day :O) Plus, I had a wonderful 12 day visist with my younger sister Rachel, who came to stay - we decided to go away for the weekend while she was here. Disney was an option but way too expensive for just one day's entertainment so we went to Charleston - WV. We were going to go to Charleston SC, but from here in MI it would be a 14 1/2 hour drive - so I looked on the map and found a Charleston WV - only 6 1/2 hours drive away (allegedly - I would like to point out the mapquest does not allow time for potty breaks or eating!)
Anyway the weekend was fab - we had a lovely time - found an amazing sushi restaurant - went shopping for gorgeous shoes and ate homemade ice-cream in a tiny little ice-cream store. What more could you ask for.

June SOTM card

Here is a pretty card which I designed using the Perfect Day level 2 paper pack (love this paper - it has to be one of my favorites) and using the June SOTM and Ticket for all seasons (D1235) I chalked the flowers and added a touch of prisma glitter to the centers

June Stamp Of The Month Cards

Here are 3 more cards using this
lovely set - the one on the far left reminds me of a snowflake - prefect for Xmas and winter cards - the bottom card has been cut out - around the top and bottom edge of the card - which give a scalloped effect - I stamped the swirl in the spaces which then decorates the inside of the card.
