Halloween Mini Album - My Creations Mix n Mingle

I loved the way this little mini album turned out.
The 'Label' paper in the Mischief Level 2 paper pack was just perfect to
scrapbook the pictures of Elliott - who is also known as Pumpkin due to his beautiful
red hair.
I made an accordian style spine and then added foldout pages for  more areas for photos.

I threaded colonial white ribbon through the ribbon slide

Here I added the bronze Glitz Glitter Gel to the Milepost bracket shape
Hope you like it :O)

Malta album - Extravaganza Artwork

This is the album which I made using parts of 3 albums. the front cover is from the new Mix & Mingle album and the rest of it is a combination of the Acrylix and Allsorts albums.I still have pages from both left over. Enough to make another :O) I used the Perfect Day paper and matching Stickease and LOTS of sparkles and liquid glass.

I covered the dimensional element circle with the paper and added liquid glass to the dots on the paper. I dry embossed the horizontal lines into the cocoa cardstock and then sanded them.
The right hand page features and opening section. It is kept closed with the ribbon.

I love making the pages interactive. this way I was able to add more photos to the page.

This - I think - is my favorite piece of artwork created for my Extravaganza class at convention. I hope you like it as much as I do :O)  Would love to hear your comments on it :O)

Coughton Court - Mix N Mingle mini album - Extravaganza artwork

I have to say just how much I love these little books - a great combination of acrylic and chipboard pages make it so much fun :O) I used the Passages level 2 paper pack with these pictures - taken when I went back to the UK in May with my dear friend Victoria. I used one of the Marks epoxy clips in the center of the flower - I just used scissors (an old pair) to cut off the metal 'clip' and just used the decorative piece. A Opaque pearl in the shades of brown added some shimmer to the label from C1422 - Unity and a photo corner from the spring blossom collection added interest to the photo (and hid the construction sign !)
I used a rub-on in the corners of these 2 photos and again a Opaque pearl in the center of the flower.
I used a close up photo of the grey leaved plant as my 'paper' on the left hand page and then added a more distant shot of the same flower bed for the main photo. I added a pearl to each of the ribbon 'tabs. On the right hand page I used another rub on and used the pearls to accent the swirls. I used a corner rounder to make the scalloped edge to the photo.
Remember on an acrylic page - what ever you do on one side - you have to do the same on the other side otherwise it will show through. So again the corner rounder was used for the scalloped edge of the photo mat and more pearls. On the right hand page I used the green embroidery floss to stitch the zig-zag pattern on the cardstock and another Marks epoxy clip to accent the page.
Here I used the new Shimmer brads to accent these pages - one on a cardstock circle and the other as a center of a flower. Here Victoria and I were right at the top of the tower! Again the tags were from C1422 - Unity.
Pearls top and bottom add a shimmer to the left hand page which shows a photo of one of the stained glass windows, and I used embroidery floss again to stitch the photo of the right hand page. 3 pearls of 2 sizes decorated the bottom corner of the photograph.
Another marks epoxy clip with the metal clip part cut off forms the center of the flower and I know it is difficult to see but there is a tiny pearl in the center of this. Glitter rub ons for the words directly onto the photo and my favorite stamp set - Just the Ticket adds more embellishment. Coco and Colonial White ribbon decorated the whole album.
If you remember I also used another of these chipboard pages on my Zippedee decorated box and tomorrow I will show you what I did with the last page.
Hope you like this :O)

Zippedee Altered Purse

Here is the cute altered 'purse' wooden box which I made using the Zippedee level 2 paper pack,Just the ticket stamp set (one of my very favorites) black ribbon and some of our new embellishments - yes you get a sneak peak at some of the goodies :O)
This photo is about 18 months old and shows Leo, Elliott and Robyn. I added mini opaques and the new red Sparkles for 'Bling'.
This is the back of the box - I have used some of the new Opaques pearls in Liquorice (black) and stamped "made with love" in black Stazon ink,  from the Made with love stamp set D1387 - page 79 of the Summer Idea book.
This end of the box features a page from the new Mix & Mingle mini album. I curved it gently before I Modge Podged it to the box. More Opaques cover the holes in the edge of the pages. I used a wooden oval shape for the tag and covered it with more paper and added mini Opaques around the photo of Leo & I.  I threaded more black ribbon and the satin edged Colonial White ribbon through it to tie it to the handle.
The other side of the tag has Robyn on it with another red Sparkle :O)
This is the other end of the purse with a photo of my husband richard and of Elliott. I have used on of the Clear acrylic tags and added a clear button which I added liquid glass to and then dropped it into Prisma glitter. Then I attached the button to the box - trapping the glitter between the box and the button :O)
Finally the lid - the beaded handle is from Michaels craft store which is where the wood box came from too. More black opaques and red sparkles add the 'bling' to the photo of Rich and I.
Hope you like it :O)
