Veranda Mini Album for Monica

I wanted to make Mini Albums for my dear friends Monica  & Kristine -
so this is what I came up with - the bases for the covers were 4x8 chipboard and the
back cover was 8x8 chipboard.
I took the gorgeous CTMH Veranda Paper, lots of embellishments
and this is what I came up with :O)
The word LIFE on the front cover was made from itty bitty scrabble style pieces - so I used
the CTMH Tiny Typewriter set and stamped on them :O)
I dry embossed the cocoa cardstock in a criss-cross patters to give it extra texture.
The left hand center page had 2 tags for photos or journalling.
I LOVED this page - the square Juniper colored piece lifted out to reveal the doors
underneath it. the pocket on the far left was made from clear transparency sheets and
I used brown stazon ink on it and then tucked the oval tag behind it.
Here you can see both tags pulled out on the far left and right.
The 2 center pages were heat embossed using clear powder and then
sponged ink over the top to reveal the pattern.
Again I used more of the plain tiles and stamped on them. More tags in the pocket too :O)
You can see on the right hand side that I used a clear card as another half page
and added embellishments and inked the edges.
This was the final page which I added a large pocket for yet more tags - the
gold square frame started off as a cream frame which I heat embossed
in gold embossing powder. I popped it up on 3D foam tape and then used it to slide
another tag behind it :O)
Here it is with all of the tags pulled out - Hope you like it as much as I did.
Monica and Kristine loved them too :O)

Veranda 9x9 Memory showcase album & box from Extravaganza.

Here is a 9x9 Memory Showcase box which I mad eusing the Veranda paper and stickease - it has a photo of the beautiful Milford Sound, NZ on it. Again I used the stamp set "Just the ticket". I have come to the conclusion that everyone needs this stamp set - it is so versatile. I used the Opaques for the dots on the j and i. I covered a clear button with liquid glass then dipped it in prisma glitter and then pushed a creme brulee
bigger brad through the center.

Here is the matching 9x9 memory showcase album which fits inside.

I love the interactive sections on pages, cards and album. It generates interest and is a great way of making space for more photos.
I used the new Shimmer Brads to anchor down the edges of the ribbon inside the fold out section.
Again, the "Just the ticket" stamp set was perfect for these two pages. I love how the color of the papers are reflected in the color of the water of the bay in Queenstown, NZ.
Hope you like it :O)

March Stamp of the Month cards - A Little Everything

This 1st card features the March SOTM -  I have used it along with one of my favorite sets - B1323 - Just the ticket. The tickets I use on so many of my projects - you will see it on my scrapbook pages, my cruise purse, picture frames - everywhere :O) The SOTM for March - A little Everything - is another versatile set as you can put any image with these words - trains, flowers, frogs, hearts, snowflakes - this is a set which you will use all year long. I also used the Caboodle level 2 paper pack and chocolate and sweet leaf inks.
This little 3x3 tag card uses the stamp set D1402 - Togetherness - another set which you can use along with other sets. I used the Veranda paper pack for this card and Cocoa and Juniper inks.
The other cool thing about this stamp of the month is that it matches the new Cocktail alphabet found on page 84 of the Spring idea book. That floats my boat totally - how cool to be able to personalize you cards - e.g. Thanks for everything Christine, Happy Christmas Donna - & it all matches. Love it. Hope you like it too :O)

New Zealand Alsorts Album

I decided to make one of these albums for my 2 friends who also eanred the NZ trip - plus one each for the other 4 ladies who earned both trips plus one for me and one for Jeanette Lynton as she gives us these amazing trips through CTMH.
I used the new Veranda level 2 paper packs and matching stickease along with colonial white and cocoa ribbons, antique copper mini medley and the new Spring blossom paper flowers.

On this  1st page I added a lift up flap - this way we can add a photo and journalling on the 2 inside panels.

I used Sparkles on this page for added bling.

Here I used the reverse side of the paper for a different look and added the stickease photo corners and ribbon for texture.

The left hand page has a fold out section for more photos

Here it is opened :O)

Here are the last 2 pages of the book and here I added the stickease to the center of the flower :O)
Hope you like it :O)
