Hello Lovely Cards

So love these patterns in the Hello Lovely Workshop your Way.
I added the stamps set A1192 Happy Heart (this set is available in French and Spanish versions)
for the sentiment which I stamped using Flaxen ink and the heart image in Sorbet ink.
I used the Journalling pen to draw the stitching around the edge.
The flowers were cut at 2.75" and the leaves at 1"
For a fun accent I used the CTMH Mini Stapler and Mini Staples - totally in love with this - at the edges of the New England Ivy cardstock piece.
I think the end result is really pretty and I hope you like it too x

Hello Lovely Scrapbook Double Layout

I thought I would share the pretty layout I just made featuring the Hello Lovely Workshop Your Way.
I am a fool for these flowers and delicate designs
and this paper is just perfect for layouts for family, friends, weddings,
get togethers, engagements, girls and in my opinion pretty much every occasion :O)

The Workshop comes with the gorgeous new pink shimmery ribbon and gold gems
and the matching compliments. Everything you need to make a complete projects.
I added small amounts of Gold Glitter Paper and then went to town coloring in the
flowers with the clear Shimmer Brush.
A little direct to paper ink distressing with Whisper ink and you have the perfect layout xx
Hope you like it as much as I do - love Sara xx

Celebrate with Cake 6x6 card.

This would make a lovely card for an Engagement celebration, a Wedding or a Wedding Anniversary.
I used La Vie En Rose paper and Poppy cardstock which I dry embossed and then inked.
I also used Pixie (pink) and Fern (green) ink to color the black and white paper.
The cake was colored with the Shinhan Markers
Hope you like it - Love Sara xxx

Wedding layouts

These were the pages which I made for my friend Nancy's daughter Brittany and her new husband Derek when they got married in May last year.
I used the Bliss paper pack and added smoothie cardstock and ink for a touch of color.
I stamped the roses and then cut around them to give a lace effect.
Cocoa ribbon added a nice touch and contrasted nicely with the Grey Flannel cardstock which I had dry embossed and sanded to give it an even softer look.
Again I dry embossed and sanded the smoothie cardstock. I liquid glassed the roses which I had stamped and cut out.
I added the Bliss net flowers to these pages which were so pretty and added paper to the dimensional element heart.
I used the corner rounder to form the scallop border on these pages
Hope you like how it turned out - both Brittany and Derek were thrilled with it :O)

Julie & Adam's Wedding Mini Album

Our friends Julie and Adam got married last fall and this is the 9x9 My Creations Memory Showcase Album which I made for them. They had a beautiful fall theme with gorgeous sunflowers. The fabric flowers on the album came from Michaels but I found a retired stamp set which was just perfect for this project. I added Dimensional Element Hearts - stamped in Sunflower and Indian Corn Blue ink and added silver Glitter Glitx Gel Glue (squidgy stuff for those of you who know me)
I used the blueprints from 12x12 scrapbook pages and scaled them down to fit the 9x9 pages of this album
Here I tore and rolled and ink distressed the edge of the stamped piece then tore the Outdoor Denim cardstock and used the paper piercer and the ruler to make evenly spaced holes which I then threaded sunflower waxy flax.
Here I used hemp and one of the travel themed jounalling spots under the cut out sunflower.
More hemp and another journalling spot.
I made a fun pocket with a pull out photo mat - there was room to add more photos to the pocket if they wish to. Brads finished off the rows of 3 flowers on both sides of the pocket.
I dry embossed the 'envelope flap' and then put goldrush brads in the centers of all of the little flowers.
This is the back cover of the album.  I was so happy with the finished result and I know they were too :O)
I hope they both ' Live happily Ever After'  xxxx
