Doodle Signs Cards

Here is a cute card for a friend - I used the Hostess Reward set from page 7
of the Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book.
I used the gorgeous Laughing Lola Paper and Black and Gypsy inks.
I added the White Enamel shapes over the stamped triangle images
and then lots of Purple Glitter Gems to make it sparkle.
I used the Scallop Border Punch and piercing tool on the black cardstock.

Laughing Lola Love Wall Hanging - Extravaganza 2013

I seriously love this piece of artwork which I made for Extravaganza last year.
The photos were taken by the seriously talented Jennifer Cashin from JLCashin Photography
I think this is the last piece that I haven't shown you and I apologize it if is somewhere else on here.

I used the Dimensional Element Mini Album pages which are Cricut Artise Cartridge compatible.
Here I added photos directly to 3 pieces using Liquid Glass then carefully cut around them and sanded the edges till they were smooth again.
I decorated the top and bottom pieces with the Laughing Lola Paper and matching
Dinemsional Elements.
I made flowers using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and added sparkles to the centers of them.
I colored our Color Ready ribbon with Gypsy ink to get a soft Lavender color and added the
wooden swirls from the Mini Medley collection.
The words were stamped using the new E1027 Framework Alphabet and then cut out - yes it took a little time but so worth it.
These I layered on Black Glitter Cardstock which was in turn layered onto another larger Dimensional Element.
Lots of Prisma Glitter finished it off and I LOVE IT :O)
Hope you love it too - Love Sara xxx

Laughing Lola - Balloon Talk Boy's Card.

I make so many girl or feminine cards featuring flowers and pretty embellishments
I wanted to make a card which was suitable more for boys or men.

I used the CTMH Stripe Embossing Folder for the background.
These are so easy to use - I have the Sizzix Big Shot machine as I like the extended base for longer pieces of cardstock.
I love the plaid design of the Laughing Lola paper and I think it has a more masculine feel
and it pairs perfectly with the gold paper with the stripe design.
I added Lagoon and Black ink for the sentiments.
I put Durable Artisan Studs between the flags as again, they have a masculine feel to them

Good Times mini album

I really do like the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge - not only does it give you options for page layouts - there are also the patterns for 10 different sized mini albums.
This one is the Summer mini album.
These mini albums are so cool as they have many themed images which you can add if you want too. I particularly love the beach umbrella below :O)
All the way thought I have added the tan glitter paper and burlap ribbon.

the page about with the masked character actually opens so the journalling is under the photo.
Hope you like it :O)  Love Sara xxx

Sweet Moments Mini Album in a Box

I am sad not to be able to get any more of the My Creations Recipe Boxes -I used them for so many things - should have stockpiled them LOL. I chose the check paper from the Laughing Lola paper pack as this - along with the gold patterned paper made me think of picnic baskets.
For this project I turned the box on its side so that and then used the Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements along with paper flowers cut with the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and the flourish from the Wooden Mini Medley and Burlap Ribbon to decorate the lid.

Inside I made a concertina style mini album from lengths of 4x6 black cardstock and then glued the flip flaps to the back - I think it is easier to see what I mean from the photos than trying to describe it lol.
The photos were taken by my super talented friend Jenner from JLCashin Photography -Facebook.com/jlcashinphotography
If you live in the area make sure you check her out - her photography is fabulous.
On some of the sections I used either the Wishes or Originals card confidence programs and chose card designs to decorate these areas.

Hope you like it as much as I do - Love Sara xxx

Follow your heart corner bookmark

Here is a quick and easy project which will take you just a little while to complete and is so stinking cute :O)
I used a couple of the larger Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements and added flowers cut using the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. Pink sparkles in the center added more bling. I did a a piece of cardstock to the back of it so that it fits over the corner of a page.
I colored the ribbon using the Gypsy ink and a sponge. I added prism glitter to the heart and then a layer of Lqiuid glass to keep it in place and not in your books :O)
A black button from the Black mini medley and a large clear sparkle in the center finished it off.
Hope you love it - Love Sara xxx

Made Just For You 'Spa in a box'

This is one of my favorite pieces from teaching my class at Extravaganza last year.
I used the My Creations recipe box as the base.
I took the mask which I had made  using the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge and sponged Gypsy ink onto the Gypsy cardstock to make a patterned background.
I love the Laughing Lola paper as it has just fun colors in it. I decided to make a 'Spa In A Box" and use all Lavender smelling items in it.
I used the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy to cut the flowers.
I used D1542 For A Friend to stamp the sentiment on the lid of the box ink Gypsy ink and then stamped the same image onto the My Creations Muslin Bags - this time using Smokey Plum Pigment ink. You have to use the Pigment inks on fabric otherwise the color spreads and you don't get a crisp image.
I used the watercolor pencils to add color to the image on the bags.
I filled them with dried lavender - they smelled lovely :O)
I bought a bar of Lavender soap and the travel sized bottle of Lavender shower gel and hand lotion and wrapped the paper around them and tied them with the Color Ready Ribbon which I had colored by sponging Gypsy ink until I got the depth of color I wanted.
I was thrilled with the finished result and hope you like it too :O)

2 Of A Kind

I just loved playing with the Laughing Lola paper - it is so versatile.
I made a 6x6 card using the 'Satchel" pattern from the Wishes Card Confidence Program.
The CTMH Cricut cartridge was used to cut the fun scalloped background from Crystal Blue cardstock and I used the new CTMH Scallop Border punch along the top of the card.
I added Liquid Glass to the word friends and used sequins to 'dot' the letter 'i'

Hat-titude Layout

Once again I used the photos taken by my amazing friend Jennifer Cashin from JLCashin Photography
for this fun layout - which makes me smile. I was laughing so hard at myself - terrified I was going to fall into the water but trying to look elegant LOL :O)
Again I used the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge for the layout design and then added lots of 'Bling' -
Of Course I did - would you expect anything else ???
Here are a couple of the close ups of the embellishments clusters. I made paper flowers using the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and added the Base and Bling metal flowers - love them.
I also added the Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements and the pins from the Black Mini Medley.

A Touch of Sass!

Here is a fun card - perfect for the teenage in your life :O)
Here I added one of the swirls from the Wooden Mini Medley - I added Liquid Glass to it to give it that glossy sheen.
I used the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge with the Black glitter paper to make the Zebra background and some of the Colonial White Rosette Ribbon which I colored pink.
Laughing Lola paper was used on the bottom and behind the saying and a cute black mini bow along with the sequins add that touch of Sass :O)

Cruise 2013 - Scrapbook Layout.

Yes - I know - you are going to tell me that this layout looks awfully familiar !!
And yes - it does lol :O)
I love the layout which I made with the Tommy Paper so very much I wanted to re-create it - so I did
but with a different color palette. and I LOVE IT :O)
I used the Laughing Lola gold cardstock and added the black and gold paisley print paper - not very nautical I know but it works perfectly :O)
I put 2 layers of crystal blue cardstock - one I left plain and the other I cut using the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge. I turned the pattern through 180 degrees so that it looked more like fish scales (well it did to me anyway) and then added the pale tan glitter paper.
I was so geeked with this layout - one of my favorite every I think - hope you like it too -

This Was Epic - Wall Hanging

I made a wall hanging which was 12x6 for my friend Jen's daughter.
She takes a dance class so her outfit was fabulously bright and colorful.
I chose the Black and gold paisley and a touch of the Laughing Lola purple paper to highlight some of the colors in her top.
I colored the ribbon by sponging it with the Crystal Blue ink.
I embellished it with the Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements and paper flowers cut using the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.
If you look closely at the Laughing Lola gold cardstock you will see there is a faint pattern.
I cut a background lattice pattern from a piece of scrap cardstock using the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge and used it as a mask. I sponged Bamboo ink onto the gold cartridge to give it a very soft patterned look.
More of the Base and Bling jewel flowers and the Black mini medley to add embellishment to the corner of the wall hanging.
Hope you like it - Love Sara xxx

Cityscape card

I really do like C2563 Cityscapes.
The buildings have really cool 'window' spaces which you could color yellow for more of a night-time look.
I used the Black glitter paper with the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge to make the zebra patterned background.
I colored Rosette ribbon with the Gypsy ink pad but it seemed really dark so I washed the ribbon which left if with this cool dark lavender color which I LOVED :O)
I cut a flower from Crystal Blue cardstock using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge and leaves from Sweet Leaf cardstock.
I added one of the peacock feather shaped Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements and some of the jewels from the Base and Bling sets.
I was really happy with it - hope you like it too  - Love Sara :O)

Love Pocket Card

A simple little card with a pocket to store your declaration of Love.
when you use the Black and gold paisley print with the leopard print zip strip and add crystal blue cardstock it gives you a more masculine feel to it.
I added the sequin ribbon from the Black Mini Medley and one of the button which I glued a
 tan sparkle to the center.
The Laughing Lola accessories have these darling bows - so I used the blue one to act a a pull tab for my Love note which was in the pocket.
Hope you like it :O)

Title Scrapbook page

Here is a single scrapbook page which I made based on a fun page which had been made at a CTMH scrapbook event.
I used the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge to cut the doily shape and the arrow and striped card stock pieces and mixed both the Laughing Lola and Frosted papers.
I love the Lagoon Washi Tape accents.
This would be perfect for a Title page for an album or for the final page in an album.
Hope you like it :O)

You & Me Scrapbook Layout

More Laughing Lola paper with the black glitter paper - just perfect for showcasing these sepia toned photos of my daughter Robyn and her boyfriend Mike.
I used the You + Me 'key' on the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge which made the fun title, hearts and file folder at the top of the page - which I used to hide my journalling using one of the CTMH hook and loop dots to keep the 'file' closed.
I used the Sparkle and Shine fabric to make the large flower and when it was combined with the Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements and Base and Bling purple jewels - I thought it made a fun multi textured embellishment cluster.
Hope you like it - Love Sara xx

A Touch of Class Photo Block Stack

This was a fun project to make as I had an idea about this a while ago but wasn't sure how it was all come together.
I had used the tray base for these blocks on another project and wanted to show a way of using the blocks without their storage tray - so here you go :O)

I used the new CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut the letters for the word SMILE
which I attached to the photos - sorry I know its a little difficult to see
The words on the Dimensional Elements were just perfect with these photos.
My friend Jennifer Cashin from JLCashin Photography took the photos of me and
made me feel like a movie star.
She is fabulous and I love her work. Check it out at www.facebook.com/jlcashinphotography

Below is the last side of the stack - the cubes were all adhered to each other using liquid glass (you just knew I was going to say that didn't you LOL)
I added the resin flowers from the Base and Bling Purple jewels for more texture
Hope you like it :O)

Wild About Love - Stamp of the Month

I am Wild About Love - totally in love with the cutest foxes EVER !
This is the Stamp of the Month for February and I know you will be Wild about Love with them too :O)
This 1st card uses the new Skylark paper and I have added Hollyhock, Desert Sand and Blush ink
I used the Skylark Chevron ZipStrip behind the title piece which I stamped in Chocolate and colored with a Sweet Leaf Marker.
I used Babycakes paper on this one and stamped the I Love You saying all over the Colonial White base in 2nd generation Chocolate ink. I stamped the hearts in Sunset ink on Sunset cardstock.
I used the scallop border punch on the paper and the Whisper cardstock and Chocolate cardstock pieces
Blush Chocolate and Hollyhock again were the perfect combination for this Hey Foxy card and pale green Epoxy Bubbles added a fun touch to the center of the flower and the title piece.
I used the Scallop Border punch on the title piece and its mat.
Okay I am not quite sure what happened the the photo below - because that is Dessert Sand cardstock for the base and it sure doesn't look like it here !!
Anyway - trust me - it is :O)
And I used the new Ivy Lane paper in this design which was based on a card made by the Uber talented Lisa Stenz.
Babycakes again on this one - I used the Goldrush Marker and then Liquid Glass on the heart on the tree trunk - CUTE :O)
I used Ivy Lane paper on this cute Thank You card designed by my dear friend
Dana Swadling - love it :O)
More Babycakes Stripe paper and Chocolate and Sunset ink (perfect colors for foxes) for this card - again the Scallop Border punch was used along the bottom and Liquid Glass on the heart.
And last but not least a card with no foxes - haha - here I used Laughing Lola paper and the Heart stamp along with Crystal Blue and Cotton Candy Ink to make a more modern card
with not a fox in sight :O)
Well I hope you like them as much as I like playing with this super cute set.
Make sure you order yours before the end of February :O)
