Sophia My Creations Board Book from Extravaganza
Here is a board book which I made into a carousel piece. I used the Sophia level 2 paper packet and added cocoa cardstock and lots of ribbon :O)
I scored the blush cardstock in a criss-cross pattern and sanded it and then added
sparkles .
This photo of the right actually tucks into the pocket made by the cocoa cardstock.
Lots of white embossing powder added a textural feel to the cocoa cardstock
and on the right hand page I added a interactive fold out section
perfect for adding lots of photos.
All unfolded :O)
My creations A-dor-ables added more interactive fun and I made a flower
as a handle to open the 'door'
This section was made from the front and back covers of the book. I sliced
through the fold on the spine of the book and then pulled the covers together so that
it formed a circle (hope this makes some sort of sense).
The ribbon hides the join :O)
Hope you like it :O)

Wooohoooo - we did it again :O)
Yes my life has - once again - been consumed by the Walled Lake Central Marching Band - and I don't mind one little bit :O)
It has been a crazy time with practice for Leo 4 nights in the week after school PLUS most Saturday - all since the beginning of September - so add that to school plus homework - and that lad of mine has no time to get into mischief - gotta love it.
Anyway - all of that hard work has paid off as on Saturday the State championships were held at Ford Field by the MCBA (Michigan Competing Band Association). All of the bands who competed were wonderful - and the top 3 bands were so close in their marks. But we won 1st place and also took the trophies for Best Marching and Best General Effect. The Plymouth Canton Educational Park took the trophy for Best Music - their show was so pretty - I loved all of the unbrellas that formed the flowers for their "Gardens of Babylon" show.
So now I ( and the rest of the WLCMB) are off to Indianapolis on Wednesday afternoon to take part in the Grand National competition where high school marching bands from across the country come and take place. There are about 100 bands taking part so fingers crossed that our band does well
I will be back late Sunday night and will let you know the outcome. :O)

My Creations Board Book Mini Album
This little book of fabulosity documents an afternoon of fun at Coughton Court in the UK. My dear friend Victoria and I spent lots of time in the gardens and grounds as well as inside the beautiful house. We had so much fun playing hide and go seek in between the hedges and down the gravel paths :O)
I love these hardboard books by CTMH. Instead of opening it in the usual fashion I turned it through 90 degrees and opened it top to bottom. I used the Lucky level 2 paper pack to decorate it. Along with lots of the new Chocolate strip ribbon.
I added a Milepost star and squared shape to the 2 pages which I had inked on the flat side. The Bling buttons are great for a way of adding sparkle. I also used the Bingo alphabet. I love the grid that is included in the set.
Here I added the bronze Glitz Gel Glue (okay I can never say this to abbreviated it to 'squidgy stuff' at a class I taught last week lol) to the ridges of the milepost shapes. and on the bottom page I inked the flat side then stamped on it to. I love the fact that both sides are so versatile.
Again more milepost shapes and on the bottom page I added a fold out page - you know how I like to make my pages, layouts and mini albums interactive.
Lots more ribbon :O)
On the last page I added 2 photos but cut them so that they were very narrow - but they worked perfectly with the photo subject.
Hope you like this little book as much as I do :O)

Halloween Mini Album - My Creations Mix n Mingle
I loved the way this little mini album turned out.
The 'Label' paper in the Mischief Level 2 paper pack was just perfect to
scrapbook the pictures of Elliott - who is also known as Pumpkin due to his beautiful
red hair.
I made an accordian style spine and then added foldout pages for more areas for photos.
I threaded colonial white ribbon through the ribbon slide
Here I added the bronze Glitz Glitter Gel to the Milepost bracket shape
Hope you like it :O)
