You & Me Scrapbook Layout

More Laughing Lola paper with the black glitter paper - just perfect for showcasing these sepia toned photos of my daughter Robyn and her boyfriend Mike.
I used the You + Me 'key' on the CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge which made the fun title, hearts and file folder at the top of the page - which I used to hide my journalling using one of the CTMH hook and loop dots to keep the 'file' closed.
I used the Sparkle and Shine fabric to make the large flower and when it was combined with the Laughing Lola Dimensional Elements and Base and Bling purple jewels - I thought it made a fun multi textured embellishment cluster.
Hope you like it - Love Sara xx

Buzz & Bumble Mini Album

Another of my My Creations Memory Showcase transformations - you know how much I love these little mini albums :O)

I used the Buzz & Bumble paper packet along with the matching assortment and the Brown & Tan Glitter Paper and C1537 Honeycomb stamp set and yes my favorite D1482 Love Life - I am in love with the huge swirl in this set :O)
The spine was dry embossed and then inked with dots of Liquid Glass at the intersection of the lines.
I accordion folded the 2 internal pages and then made pockets from 6x12 cardstock which I slid onto these pleats. Then added a matching mini album to the pocket.

I also added the Color Ready seam binding ribbon - left in its cream color - as it compliments this project perfectly. The Glitter Paper honeycomb shapes I made by just stamping one of the honeycombs on the back of the paper and cut it out. Now that we have the new CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge you will find the corresponding image on there :O)
I used the CTMH Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the borders from the Glitter paper.

Again dry embossing adds texture and interest to the cardstock sections.

The following pages were variants of the first pages.

Another project where I was trilled with the finished result - hope you like it too :O)

A Touch of Class Photo Block Stack

This was a fun project to make as I had an idea about this a while ago but wasn't sure how it was all come together.
I had used the tray base for these blocks on another project and wanted to show a way of using the blocks without their storage tray - so here you go :O)

I used the new CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge to cut the letters for the word SMILE
which I attached to the photos - sorry I know its a little difficult to see
The words on the Dimensional Elements were just perfect with these photos.
My friend Jennifer Cashin from JLCashin Photography took the photos of me and
made me feel like a movie star.
She is fabulous and I love her work. Check it out at www.facebook.com/jlcashinphotography

Below is the last side of the stack - the cubes were all adhered to each other using liquid glass (you just knew I was going to say that didn't you LOL)
I added the resin flowers from the Base and Bling Purple jewels for more texture
Hope you like it :O)

Wild About Love - Stamp of the Month

I am Wild About Love - totally in love with the cutest foxes EVER !
This is the Stamp of the Month for February and I know you will be Wild about Love with them too :O)
This 1st card uses the new Skylark paper and I have added Hollyhock, Desert Sand and Blush ink
I used the Skylark Chevron ZipStrip behind the title piece which I stamped in Chocolate and colored with a Sweet Leaf Marker.
I used Babycakes paper on this one and stamped the I Love You saying all over the Colonial White base in 2nd generation Chocolate ink. I stamped the hearts in Sunset ink on Sunset cardstock.
I used the scallop border punch on the paper and the Whisper cardstock and Chocolate cardstock pieces
Blush Chocolate and Hollyhock again were the perfect combination for this Hey Foxy card and pale green Epoxy Bubbles added a fun touch to the center of the flower and the title piece.
I used the Scallop Border punch on the title piece and its mat.
Okay I am not quite sure what happened the the photo below - because that is Dessert Sand cardstock for the base and it sure doesn't look like it here !!
Anyway - trust me - it is :O)
And I used the new Ivy Lane paper in this design which was based on a card made by the Uber talented Lisa Stenz.
Babycakes again on this one - I used the Goldrush Marker and then Liquid Glass on the heart on the tree trunk - CUTE :O)
I used Ivy Lane paper on this cute Thank You card designed by my dear friend
Dana Swadling - love it :O)
More Babycakes Stripe paper and Chocolate and Sunset ink (perfect colors for foxes) for this card - again the Scallop Border punch was used along the bottom and Liquid Glass on the heart.
And last but not least a card with no foxes - haha - here I used Laughing Lola paper and the Heart stamp along with Crystal Blue and Cotton Candy Ink to make a more modern card
with not a fox in sight :O)
Well I hope you like them as much as I like playing with this super cute set.
Make sure you order yours before the end of February :O)

It features the gorgeous Laughing Lola Workshop on the Go and the matching Dimensional Elements.
We will be making this interactive double layout which with its fold out section gives more room for photographs.
We will use Cotton Candy, Whisper and Black inks and the Scallop Border Edge Punch.
